What do you like to eat with your cup of coffee? Personally, i love a slice of thick and creamy carrot cake!  Grin

Just a short digression. When do you drink your coffee, before, during or after having your favourite pastry, cake etc?

My favourite is Almond crisp. Drink my cuppa first, then bite my favourite pastry alternating with my coffee....Probably not having anything but the coffee alone is the best way?

What about the rest?

Food first, then coffee. By having food first it allows the coffee to cool down.

At home, usually food first, then coffee. At espresso cafes, usually sip coffee first then have cake/pastry. After that alternate. At Lighthouse Coffee in Penang, sip cappuccino then have carrot cake. Alternate. Finish off with ristretto doppio.

Okay,

1. Coffee Served
2. Smell the Aroma of the Coffee
3. Breath in the Aroma (Very Shiok and Calm)
4. Take a sip of the coffee
5. Rinse/gargle in mouth (slowly)
6. Swallow

I usally drink dark/non sweet coffee with sweet biscuits/cake.

Prefer my Cappuccino just like that, wihout any foreign taste running through my mouth.
