Nescafe Dolce Gusto

Had a Dolce Gusto "espresso" today, brewed on a little Krups machine ( on offer RM344 ) which looks kinda like a cat. Ready to brew 20 seconds after turning on!

The cup was about 40ml. It was hot and took a long time to cool down, possibly due to the layer of "crema-like" foam on top. Very little brightness, a little toasty, a little chocolatey. But only a touch bitter, so better than drinks from many super autos I've had. I would say it was properly extracted.

Certainly not an espresso, but a drinkable strong coffee.

I agree. For the price and tech, it makes a pretty decent cup of coffee beverage. I suppose we can reduce the   volume to our liking. Unfortunately its manual and not auto like the nespresso range. I was also brought to understand that they will be expending the coffee range for this machine!
